Our mission is to promote a stewardship ethic in the San Juan Islands. Good stewards are caretakers of the natural world.
To borrow from the words of Aldo Leopold's land ethic...a stewardship ethic reflects the existence of an ecological conscience, and this in turn reflects a conviction of individual responsibility for the health of the ecosystem.
